Eric Field is an award-winning Toronto-based illustrator. Although his work is digitally executed and often photo-based, it also reflects his training in traditional media such as drawing, painting, and printmaking. This sensibility unifies his treatment of a diverse range of source materials.

Eric is a graduate of both the Ontario College of Art and Design and the New York Institute of Photography, and has studied literature, history, and philosophy at the University of Toronto, and composition at the Royal Conservatory of Music.

With over ten years' experience as an illustrator, first-hand knowledge of writing, editing, and design, and a background in the humanities and fine arts, Eric is uniquely able to penetrate to the heart of any text and to translate it into striking, context-sensitive imagery.
